privacy policy

UCDx’s privacy policy is very simple. It’s your data, not ours. We respect that. But if you need a few more details:
  • If you sign-up for our email newsletter, or contact us using the web form or email, we will collect and store the personal data you provide. We will only use this personal data for the purposes you provided it. We will not share it with any other party.
  • Thus, under the Data Protection Act 2018, the lawful basis we rely on for collecting and processing your data is your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, either by contacting us, or by following the unsubscribe link on any email newsletters that we may send.
  • Your information is stored by us securely, on servers located in the UK or the European Union.
  • We keep your personal data until you wish us to delete it, or until 24 months after it has ceased to be used for the purpose you submitted it, whichever is the earlier. When we delete your data, we use methods consistent with industry best practice.
  • Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you have various rights including those of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. More details are given on the Information Commissioner’s website.
  • If you wish to make a rights request, please contact us. There is no charge for doing so. By law, we have one month to respond, but will normally do so much more quickly.
If you have any concerns about our use of your personal data, you can make a complaint to us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. UCDx’s contact details are given here. The Information Commissioner’s Office website, giving further information and their contact details, is at https://www.ico.org.uk
